Group Social Skills Sessions
What Is a Social Skills Session?
At NeuroKind London, our social skills sessions are warm, welcoming spaces where children can learn, practise, and grow — all at their own pace.
Every child is different, so we tailor sessions to their unique strengths and needs. We focus on building confidence first — helping children feel understood and accepted — because when a child feels safe, learning naturally follows.
Our goal is simple: to help children feel calm, confident, and capable in their relationships at school, at home, and in the world around them.
What skills do we focus on?
We understand that social situations can sometimes feel confusing or overwhelming. That’s why our sessions are designed to feel safe, supportive, and fun. Through games, role play, creative activities, and gentle guidance, children explore important skills such as:
Starting conversations and joining in
Understanding facial expressions and body language
Taking turns and sharing ideas
Managing big feelings
Solving problems and handling disagreements
Building and maintaining friendships
At NeuroKind London, children build skills that make a real difference in everyday life:
🌟 Increased confidence in social situations
🤝 Stronger friendships and smoother peer interactions
😊 Better understanding of emotions — their own and others’
🧠 Improved problem-solving and coping strategies
🏫 Greater ease at school and in group settings
💛 Feeling understood, accepted, and valued
Helping children feel calm, confident, and capable — one small step at a time.
What are the outcomes?
